The International Ethnic Folklore Festival (IEFF Thailand) is a unique, non-commercial cultural festival dedicated to promoting international friendship, cultural exchange, and artistic excellence through traditional music and dance. It brings together outstanding folklore ensembles from around the world in one of Asia's most exciting cultural destinations.

The festival provides an international platform where cultures unite through spectacular performances, cultural interaction, workshops, parades, and sightseeing experiences. It celebrates diversity while preserving and promoting the world's rich cultural heritage under the theme "Let's Dance for World Peace."

IEFF Thailand welcomes 5–7 international folklore groups together with 30–40 Thai cultural ensembles, featuring more than 400 artists from different countries. The festival attracts thousands of spectators and showcases exceptional performances at prestigious venues across Thailand.

Along with unforgettable stage performances, participants will explore Thailand's most famous tourist destinations including Bangkok, Pattaya, Ayutthaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and other cultural landmarks, making IEFF Thailand a perfect combination of cultural celebration and tourism.

International artists participating in the International Ethnic Folklore Festival Thailand
  • We welcome artistic groups of all ages, along with their families and friends, to Bangkok, Thailand.
  • Direct flights to Bangkok through Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).
  • Comfortable hotel accommodation with high standards of hygiene and authentic Thai cuisine will be provided throughout the festival.
  • Convenient and well-organized festival schedules.
  • Internal transportation will be provided in comfortable air-conditioned coaches.
  • Each participant will receive an Official Festival Participation Diploma, and each group leader will receive an IEFF Thailand Festival Trophy.
  • The organizers will provide digital copies of group performances along with professional photographs and videos from the festival.
  • Traditional Thai costume photo sessions and cultural experiences.
  • Enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, buffet meals, local specialties, tropical fruits, and regional delicacies.
  • Explore Thailand's famous tourist attractions including Bangkok, Pattaya, Ayutthaya, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
  • Experience Thailand's vibrant night markets, floating markets, temples, shopping malls, and local lifestyle.
  • The festival organization will select the best 7–10 groups from around the world.
  • Festival participants may take part in the optional one-day competition conducted during the festival.
  • Participation is open to Folk Dance, Classical Dance, Choirs, Ballet, Oriental Dance, Majorette, Orchestra, Music Ensembles, Marching Bands, and other cultural performing groups.
  • Participation is open to all age groups from children (7 years and above) to adults.
  • Each participating group must consist of a minimum of 5 and may include more than 50 participants.
  • Groups may perform using either live music or recorded music.
  • Groups should prepare at least three performances of approximately 10 minutes each with different costumes.
  • Smaller groups should prepare three performances of approximately 5 minutes each using different costumes.
  • Each participant must pay the selected accommodation package fee, which includes hotel accommodation, local transportation, airport transfers, and three meals per day.
  • Participating groups are responsible for arranging their own international airfare, visa requirements (if applicable), and travel insurance.
  • Groups wishing to participate in the competition must pay the applicable competition entry fee.
  • The one-day competition is optional and organized as part of the official festival programme.
